MotorBitPrivacy Policy
MotorBit is an OBD-II diagnostic app. Your privacy is simple: diagnostic data is processed on your iPhone. We do not run an account system for scanning, and we do not sell vehicle data.
Data stored on your device
- Sensor readings, trouble codes, freeze frame, VIN/ECU strings you read from the vehicle
- App settings (units, language, last Bluetooth device id)
- Optional recordings and reports you generate
This information is not uploaded to MotorBit servers as part of a scan.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth is used only to discover and communicate with OBD-II adapters (BLE and MFi). It is not used for advertising or location tracking.
In-app purchases
MotorBit Pro is processed by Apple StoreKit. We do not receive your card number. We only know whether Pro is active on that Apple ID.
This website
getmotorbit.com is a static informational site. If you host it on a CDN, that provider may log standard request metadata (IP, user agent) according to their policy. We do not embed third-party ad or analytics pixels on these pages.
